Seoul Biennale of Architecture & Urbanism is an international event that connects global cities' contemporary and future aspects. The event covers various studies such as sociology, geography, economy, art and culture to find the perspective and answers to fundamental questions regarding cities: how one understands cities, required philosophies and approaches for cities, and essential things to remember during the process of developing cities.

The logo contains elements from South Korea's national flag, Taegukgi, which is commonly associated with Korean tradition and represents balance in the universe. Neutral colors were then applied later to represent ecology commons in the context of architecture.
